Bio:

Dr. Yogesh K. Patel is a Board-Certified General Surgeon with 18 years of experience

serving patients in the Las Vegas Valley. He earned his Bachelor of Science in

Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and his Doctor of Medicine

with high honors from Ross University, before completing his General Surgery

residency at Kern Medical Center.

Since opening his practice in 2007, Dr. Patel has been dedicated to delivering
compassionate, high-quality surgical care. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant

Professor at Touro University, where he helps shape the next generation of physicians

and physician assistants.

A recognized leader in advanced surgical techniques, Dr. Patel has specialized in

robotic surgery since 2018. He also serves as a national instructor, training surgeons

across the country in adopting robotic approaches to traditional surgery—enhancing

precision, safety, and patient outcomes.

Building on this expertise, Dr. Patel offers a wide range of surgical services, including

breast and thyroid surgery, along with the latest minimally invasive treatments for

varicose vein disease. His commitment to innovation ensures that patients receive

care tailored to both their medical needs and long-term well-being.

In 2023, Dr. Patel joined Southern Nevada Surgery Specialists, where he continues his
mission of combining surgical excellence with a patient-centered approach in a
