Bio:

Dr. Adan Castrodad was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he earned his

medical degree. He completed a general surgery residency at Texas Tech University,

followed by two fellowships at the Mayo Clinic in minimally invasive and colorectal

surgery.

 

Dr. Castrodad has a strong clinical interest in diseases of the lower gastrointestinal 

tract. His expertise includes the surgical management of conditions ranging from

benign disorders such as diverticulitis and hemorrhoids to complex colorectal

cancers. He has a particular interest in the treatment of inflammatory bowel

diseases, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

 

Dr. Castrodad is deeply committed to building long-term relationships with his

patients.His approach to care emphasizes clinical excellence, patient safety, and

doing what is right for each individual—always with compassion and integrity.
