Witnessing a severe car accident inspired a young Dr. Brown’s interest in medicine.
She worked as a paramedic for 12 years serving the Las Vegas citizens before medical
school, where she discovered that the trauma and critical care specialty perfectly
combined her passion for emergency diagnostics and treatment with traditional
medical/surgical care.

Dr. Brown’s diverse surgical expertise makes her highly trained to treat patients with
a wide array of emergent surgical and medical problems from hernias and inflamed
gallbladders to extensive traumatic injuries. Her interests include pre-hospital care,
disaster response, multi-organ dysfunction, advanced ventilator techniques,
laparoscopic surgery, wound care, ultrasound diagnosis, rib plating, robotic surgery
and osteopathic manipulation treatment (OMT).

Determined to never lose sight of medicine’s human element, Dr. Brown’s philosophy
is to see her patients as family and treat the whole patient. She is committed to being
her patients’ best advocate while maintaining empathy and transparency.
Dr. Brown’s favorite hobbies include aerials, camping, hiking, yoga, ceramics, painting
