Bio: 

Charles B. Walton M.D. FACS is a Board-Certified General Surgeon with Southern

Nevada Surgery Specialists.

 

Dr. Walton graduated from the University of California - Davis with a Bachelor of

Science Degree in Biochemistry - Highest Honors. He joined the United States Air

Force.  He studied medicine at the University of California - San Diego and University

of California - Davis.  Surgical training was at the University of California - Davis

Teaching Hospitals in Sacramento, Martinez VA Medical Center and the David Grant

USAF Medical Center in Fairfield California.

 

After training he was assigned to Nellis Air Force base as a General Surgeon and a

Flight Surgeon.  He was deployed to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq for operation

Desert Storm where he received various commendations and medals.

 

After 14 years in the Air Force he joined Southern Nevada Surgery Specialists where

he has worked for over 30 years. He is looking forward to continuing high quality

surgical care and being a resource and mentor for his colleagues and the new

generation of surgeons in the practice.
